Starting with an ominous tweet sent out by Jarrett Jack, Wednesday has begun with a bang:
I got news

Three-team trade will see Nets acquire Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev from Cleveland. Boston gets Thornton, Zeller and a first

While it's sad to see both Zeller and Karasev go (though drafting Joe Harris would likely have pushed Karasev out of the rotation anyways), it's looking more and more like the Cavaliers are creating the cap space for a max contract.
This move creates about $10 million in space on top of the $17 million that we already had (assuming we renounce the rights to Luol Deng). Amazingly, that brings the total cap room to around $27 million, $4 million more than the max that would be offered to LeBron.
I think the most important note is this: the Cavaliers have created enough space to bring LeBron back without touching Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson, two players very close to James.
Getting a bit crazy up in here. We'll keep you updated as the day goes on...
