Happy Friday folks. If you haven't heard, Andrew Wiggins (along with Joe Harris) has signed his rookie contract with the Cavaliers. This officially means that he cannot be traded for a full 30 days, per the CBA. Just because he can't be officially traded though doesn't mean a deal couldn't be agreed to in principle, centered on Wiggins and Bennett for Love. And because of all of this, we have the waiting game.
And just to keep things interesting, Stephen A. Smith threw this out there on Mike & Mike this morning:

Overall, things seem to look pretty good for the Cavs landing Love before the 2014 season begins, but the Bulls and Warriors are still looming in the background. The deal almost certainly is reliant on whether or not the Cavs will give up Wiggins, which FSO beat writer Sam Amico still has sources telling him that the Cavs have yet to offer. You can bet that the reason that a deal hasn't been made yet is because Flip Saunders is still trying to pry the apple of his eye (Wiggins) away from the Cavs.
But in the meantime, Tom Petty does a remarkable job of describing the pain that the Cavaliers fans have endured so far, and will continue to endure until all of this plays out.
