Full disclosure: I do not play fantasy football. I realize that puts me in the minority of sports fans. I'm of the belief that fantasy football depletes the joy of watching actual football (no Browns fan should ever cheer for Ben Roethelisberger because you have him in your lineup).
That said, I have seen The League. I've seen the ESPN shows dedicated to helping you set a lineup. I've seen the blogs dedicated solely to the craft. It's a big damn deal. There is a social weight to fantasy football. It's ubiquitous. Everyone knows about it.
Well, because we're still in the doldrums before NBA pre-season starts, I can tell you this. LeBron James is a fantasy football cheater (according to Jalen Rose).

For those of you too lazy to watch the video, Rose casually mentions that he is in the same Fantasy Football league as LeBron James. He then accuses James of being a cheater.
Rose says that he drafted Reggie Bush in the third round (he snagged Aaron Rodgers in the first and Brandon Marshall in the second, if you're curious). He added Bush to his roster and then the draft stopped and Bush disappeared. He wound up on James' fantasy team (called the Foundation).
Rose called the league commissioner. The commish put him on speaker phone and James immediately started laughing in the background.
Alls well that ends well though. Rose got Alfred Morris in Bush's stead and through three weeks, Morris has been the superior fantasy player.
For those interested, Jalen and Jacoby also discuss LBJ's development as a business mogul, his suddenly unreceding hairline and the erection of the downtown banner. All that convo is held within the first 20 minutes. It's worth a listen.
